Longwave Capital Partners has announced the appointment of a new portfolio manager.
The investment manager has confirmed Melinda White will join the company, bringing over 20 years of buy-side investment experience in both domestic and global markets.
Ms White most recently served as investment director for active equities at IFM Investors, as well as enjoyed an eight-year stint at Fidelity as a senior analyst.
Ms White also previously held roles at Schroders, Global Value Investors and Investors Manual.
“I have the greatest respect for the experienced Longwave team, their investment processes and what they’ve achieved in a short period of time,” Ms White said.
“My own personal investment philosophies are closely aligned to those of the firm, and I am very excited to be joining such a dynamic team.”
Longwave founding partner and CIO David Wanis welcomed the appointment saying Ms White will help enhance the group’s capabilities.
“Attracting the highest-calibre investment professionals is critically important to our distinctive multidisciplinary investment process,” he said.
