Mark Hardman has taken the role, joining the group from Canaccord where he was head of sales trading.
He previously held a role at Nomura Securities, where he was executive director of sales trading.
Mr Hardman also worked at Goldman Sachs for 13 years, where he worked across sales trading, program trading, risk facilitation and as an options registered trader.
