Mr Jordan will work with the investment management team to continue to oversee the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose data framework and investment operating platform.

“Technology innovation and data-led decision-making are core foundations of the [fund],” Mr Reilly said. “It’s critical we continue to invest in developing strong data-oriented frameworks to support our [investment] team with real-time insights that will enhance their ability to deliver strong, long-term returns for members.”

Mr Jordan was previously a vice-president with Morgan Stanley, managing the delivery of several large-scale private wealth management technology projects. He joins HESTA from SS&C Bluedoor, a wealth management platform for superannuation, where he was senior director – head of product and technology.

“I’m looking forward to joining HESTA at such an exciting time as the [fund] continues developing its investment operations architecture to ensure we’re [well positioned] to continue making a real difference to the financial future of every member,” Mr Jordan said.

He will commence in the new role on 15 June 2020.
