In recognition of her marketing excellence in the financial services industry, Allianz Australia senior CRM Manager Claire Vale was named Marketing Professional of the Year at the 2019 Women in Finance Awards.
The third annual awards, held at The Star in Sydney on 1 August, promoted the women who are shaping and influencing their areas of expertise across the industry, including Allianz’s Ms Vale. Ms Vale’s award, Marketing Professional of the Year, recognises the marketing leader who has made outstanding contributions and most effectively driven value to their organisation.
Having worked at Allianz Australia for over 10 years now, Ms Vale has led and transformed successful, end-to-end marketing campaigns for Allianz’s financial institution (FI) partners. This has included national rollout campaigns for partners such as Heritage Bank, Teachers Mutual Bank and Credit Union SA.
Her unique approach to FI marketing, coupled with her ability to lead and inspire her teams and colleagues, has allowed Ms Vale to make tremendous strides in her career and across the industry.
“I’m very proud to see Claire recognised for her many achievements and hard work in the industry,” Allianz chief market manager Nick Adams said.
"The marketing and financial services landscapes are undergoing constant change, and Claire has proven time and again her ability to effectively manage and respond to that change while bringing enthusiasm and positivity to her teams and business partners.
“Claire has been pivotal in re-engineering marketing strategies for Allianz and our financial institution partners and ensuring that all marketing activities reflect the needs and interests of the customer. I congratulate Claire on this well-deserved recognition. She is a critical member of our team and a great role model to those around her.”
