The Association of Financial Advisers has appointed Rob Coulter to the position of general manager of partnerships.

Mr Coulter has an extensive career in financial services, most recently as head of corporate development at IPAC Securities and, prior to that, head of employer superannuation sales at OnePath (formerly ING).

AFA chief executive Philip Kewin said that Mr Coulter’s experience in financial services would be invaluable to the AFA team.

“Rob will be responsible for driving the AFA partnerships strategy in order to develop strategic relationships that add value to member engagement and maximise the resources and expertise of our partner relationships.
