Temenos has announced a new chief executive officer and chief financial officer to push the software company forward.

Max Chuard has been appointed as the new chief executive officer and Panagiotis Spiliopoulos has been appointed as chief financial officer.

The appointments come off the back of a great 2018 for the company and the appointment of Jean-Michel Hilsenkopf as its chief operating officer.

Rounding off the changes to the team is Alexa Guenoun who has joined the committee as chief client officer after having spent 12 years with Temenos.

Incoming chief executive Mr Chuard said the appointments strengthened the breadth and depth of talent in the business.

“Today we are announcing the strengthening of our executive committee, with the appointment of Jean-Michel Hilsenkopf to the COO position and Alexa Guenoun joining the executive committee as chief client officer.

“With the announcement of our new CFO, Panagiotis “Takis” Spiliopoulos, who will be joining the business shortly, we have a very strong team in place. Takis brings a unique skill set across technology, finance, operations and strategy. He has followed the business since IPO and has always believed in our strategy and potential and is a strong cultural fit for the organization.”

Mr Chuard said the company had had a great past few years and this new group would help push Temenos forward into a new stage of growth.

“I am confident we will be able to build on the fantastic performance over the last few years and continue successfully executing our strategic plan, delivering significant shareholder value as we enter our next phase of growth,” Mr Chuard said.
