“Wagstaff and his team will enhance products and services that help clients take the greatest advantage of the broad range of services that BNY Mellon offers as well in other lines of business in Australia and globally,” they said.

BNY Mellon has recognised Australia as a priority growth market and Mr Wagstaff will work with issuers across the global debt market as he builds the company’s offerings.

“BNY Mellon is actually the only global trust provider that operates at scale in the Australian market. Wagstaff’s appointment reflects a commitment to grow that business further,” he said.
