Global advisory firm Willis Towers Watson has announced the appointment of Andrew Guilfoyle to the role of investment consultant.

Formerly an investment analyst at WA Super, Mr Guilfoyle brings a broad range of experience to the role, and Willis Towers Watson director of investments Martin Goss said Mr Guilfoyle’s “long experience in institutional investment” allowed him to consult a wide range of clients.

“Andrew’s breadth of experience with superannuation funds in particular gives him the insights to tailor our investment strategies to the specific needs of clients,” Mr Goss added.

Prior to his role with WA Super, Mr Guilfoyle served as an investment strategist with the Government Employees Superannuation Board for seven years, and also spent three years with BT Financial Group.

This appointment follows the recent addition of dam Elliott to the Sydney based strategy team.
