BetaShares reaches $3bn AUM, expands team

Exchange-traded fund manager BetaShares has reached $3 billion in assets under management and announced the appointments of Alicia Mclean and Ele de Vere to the business’ marketing team.

Ms Mclean joins the business as a senior marketing manager, having previously worked with ANZ E*Trade and Macquarie Bank, bringing over a decade’s worth of experience in marketing and project management to her new position.

Ms De Vere has taken on the role of marketing executive, bringing with her six years of experience in marketing.

BetaShares managing director Alex Vynokur added that the company had recently reached $3 billion in assets under management across a number of ASX listed products, with the company also noting it planned to grow its Victorian presence.

These announcements follow the the launch of two new ETF products in August, focused on healthcare and agriculture respectively.
