Lisa Samuels has relocated from Adelaide to Melbourne to take up her new role at HESTA.
HESTA chief executive Debby Blakey said Ms Samuels would bring "fresh perspectives and enhanced strategic thinking" to the fund.
Ms Samuels said HESTA is a "very good brand" with ambitious plans for the future.
