LGS appoints new property portfolio manager

Local Government Super (LGS) has announced the appointment of Scott Armstrong as the new property portfolio manager, replacing Andrew Kim.

Mr Armstrong will be responsible for managing LGS’ Local Government Property Fund, an unlisted fund comprising of New South Wales property assets across the commercial, retail and industrial sectors.

Prior to Mr Armstrong’s appointment with LGS he was the portfolio manager of Direct Property for Uniting Financial services, the $1 billion treasury and investment arm of the Uniting Church in Australia.

Mr Armstrong has also held senior roles with ASX listed property fund managers such as ING Real Estate and DEXUS as well as wholesale funds and development groups such as FKP Property Group.

Mr Armstrong commenced the role on Tuesday 7 October, replacing former property portfolio manager Andrew Kim.
