CFSGAM head of Australian Equities Matthew Reynolds said that with industry trends highlighting the need for increased portfolio customisation, CFSGAM required an additional portfolio manager to meet this demand.
Ms Tracey joins CFSGAM from boutique international equities manager Five Oceans Asset Management where she spent nine years as one of the founding members.
Prior to this she was a senior member of the international equities team at BT and has also worked for Merrill Lynch Investment Management as a portfolio manager focused on Australian equities.
Mr Reynolds said the appointment bolsters the current Australian equities offering at CFSGAM and provides additional talent to complement the breadth of skills already in the team.
“Ms Tracey brings 10 years of portfolio management experience to the role and adds to the significant skill and strong portfolio management capability within the team,” he said.
