In his new role, Mr Jordan will report to head of global fund services Peter Cherecwich and Singapore-based head of Northern Trust in the Asia Pacific, William Mak.
Mr Jordan who joined Northern Trust in 1992 has also held a number of roles across the organisation, including chief administration officer for global fund services.
This recent appointment follows Mr Jordan’s appointment as head of global fund services in Australia and New Zealand.
