Equity Trustees Limited (EQT) has made two new appointments within its Australian equities team.
Michael Kordick and Thi Doan will both be preforming roles as investment analysts and will report to chief investment officer George Boubouras and head of equities Dr Paul Kasian.
Mr Boubouras said that the two appointments would further expand the Australian equity capabilities of the EQT investment team and provide additional support to the CIO and head of equities.
“The appointments of Michael and Thi to the team will help ensure we have the resources and expertise in place to take the next step in the development and growth of EQT’s funds management capability,” said Mr Boubouras.
Mr Kordick is joining EQT from his previous role at Frontier Investment Consulting where he was responsible for overseeing portfolio construction and investment strategies, investment processes and performance.
Mr Doan previously held a role at Atchison Consultants, where he was responsible for quantitative analysis, manager selection and portfolio construction.
“The EQT equities team now includes two portfolio managers and four investment analysts, and we intend to continue to add to our asset management capabilities as the right opportunities develop,” said Mr Boubouras.
