HLB Mann Judd has made a spate of new appointments as a result of domestic and global demand for accountants and adviser services.

Two new partners and three new directors have been appointed to HLB Mann Judd as it continues benefiting from its strong networking links in the Asian region.

“We have seen continual growth in our wealth management businesses as well as business advisory activities, and have also received a number of leads from our international association, which has built a particularly strong network in the Asia region,” HLB Mann Judd chairman Tony Fittler said.

“HLB Mann Judd has particularly benefited from its international association that first started over 20 years ago.

“This has given us the support and resources to continue our steady growth as well as helping ensure we have the right people, knowledge and resources to serve our clients.”

As a result of the growth, Darryl Smith has been made partner in the business services area in HLB Mann Judd’s Melbourne business.

In addition, Andrew Lord has been made wealth management director after his financial planning practice was merged into HLB Mann Judd Melbourne last year.

Mr Lord has more spent more than 20 years in the industry and will be based in Melbourne for his new role.

Danny Buckley and Kirstin Stewart have both been appointed directors in the business services divisions and will be based in Perth.

Ms Stewart joined HLB Mann Judd in 2005 and previously worked with an international mining company and a not-for-profit organisation.

Todd Gammel has been made a business recovery and insolvency partner for HLB Mann Judd’s Sydney office.

He has more than 15 years' insolvency experience and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Australia and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
