AllianceBernstein has hired a Perpetual analyst to join the value team.
Global asset management firm AllianceBernstein has appointed James Robertson as a research analyst to the AllianceBernstein value team.
Robertson will initially cover metals, mining and chemicals.
He joined AllianceBernstein from Perpetual, where he held senior management roles in Perpetual Private and earlier in group strategy. He also has experience in management consulting, engineering and financial services.
Robertson began his career at manufacturing performance improvement specialist Hagen & Co before joining management consultancy Booz & Company.
"We are delighted to appoint an analyst of James' calibre to our value team, which now includes four fundamental analysts and one quantitative analyst in Sydney supported by fundamental analysts in London and New York," AllianceBernstein Australia chief executive officer Ross Kent said.
