Based in Sydney, Mr Menon will be responsible for both Australian- and New Zealand-based clients.
He will be reporting to James Clark, head of transition management and exposure solutions, APAC.
Mr Menon spent the last two and half years as manager of product, platform and adviser support and nearly seven years working as associate of international equities and later transition manager, Asia Pacific with Goldmans Sachs.
State Street said it has built up its presence in the transition management business across the region over the last 20 years.
