RIS manager Sally Corbett will lead the business in Australia and New Zealand and will work closely with Moore to deliver services to clients in the Asia Pacific region.

The firm also has plans to hire two portfolio managers to the team, one based in Tokyo and another based in Sydney.

“John and Sally have done a tremendous job of building the RIS business in Australia from a small base to a significant and highly valued offering for clients,” Russell managing director David Rothenberg said.

“With growing regional demand, John will now have the opportunity to apply his skills across Australia and the entire Asia Pacific region.”

RIS provides investment and superannuation funds, institutional asset management and implementation services.
