A contingent of Australian members of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) will travel to Orlando, Florida, to attend the Court of the Table best practices forum next month.

Open to all MDRT members, the Australian delegation will be led by chairwoman Beverley Carlyon and will focus on effective business plans, increasing productivity, best utilisation of staff, practice marketing and enhanced sales techniques.

The Court will be followed by the Boomeretirement Summit to be held in New York, in April.

“MDRT’s Boomeretirement Industry Summit will bring together industry leaders and experts to explore financial solutions to one of the most critical issues facing the financial services industry – the pending Baby Boomer retirement crisis,” Carlyon said.

Retired head of the Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan will be the keynote speaker, answering questions posed by MDRT president Philip Harriman.

The annual meeting of the MDRT will be held in June in Denver, Colorado and for the final international forum of the year, the Top of the Table meeting will be held in Phoenix, Arizona in October.
