Greg Paramor, chair of Leftfield Investments, TierONE Capital, IHA and BackTrack Youth Works has taken the role, having taken a stake in the business.
Mr Paramor’s career has spanned more than 45 years in the real estate and funds management industry.
Grant Patterson, managing director and co-founder of Providence commented the firm and its clients will benefit from Mr Paramor’s expertise in funds management.
“I have known Providence for 15 years, and I value the integrity of their business including Providence’s independence, due diligence and client focus,” Mr Paramor added.
He is also on the board of the Charter Hall Group, Eureka Group Holdings, Sydney Swans, Sydney Swans Foundation, The Garvan Institute of Medical Research and a trustee of the Nature Conservancy.
Mr Paramor received an Order of Australia accolade in 2015.
Providence on the other hand, in its 20th year running now has more than $1 billion in funds under advice.
