The appointment is in response to increasing demand from international wealth managers for additional investment services to complement the existing administration and execution functions provided by Praemium.

In 2005, Ms Murphy co-founded North Investment Partners, where she established the Wealth Solutions Service, a portfolio service based on Praemium’s separately managed account technology.

She has 18 years of experience as an expert in the business development of multi-asset solutions, working at firms such as Henderson Global Investors and Rothschild Asset Management.

In her new role, she will report directly to chief executive Michael Ohanessian and work alongside head of platform distribution, Jon Farmer.

Mr Ohanessian said Ms Murphy would bring a wealth of experience in developing solutions to support the expansion of adviser businesses and deliver the right investment outcomes for investors.

“She joins us at an exciting time and we are delighted that someone with her expertise will help us build this new strategic area of our business,” he said.

Ms Murphy said working with Praemium will allow her to offer a seamless proposition incorporating innovative investment with a successful administration and execution capability at a competitive price.

“Praemium has a clear strategy to deliver these services to clients across a variety of different distribution channels and markets,” said Ms Murphy.
