He brings over 10 years’ financial services experience to PPS Mutual, having worked in the Queensland life insurance space since 2008.

He previously worked at AIA Australia as a regional client development associate and at BT Financial Group as digital business development manager.

In the new role, Mr Williams will report to the company’s Queensland state manager, Richard Hopwood, and tasked with driving the expansion of the state’s network.

“I am looking forward to joining the growing team at PPS Mutual and getting advisers across its unique model and offering,” he said.

“Especially these days, sustainable, long-term focus is so important, and the mutuality and profit-share really align with the best interests of the members.”

Mr Hopwood added: “We are confident that Brynley’s background and expertise aligns with PPS Mutual’s unique proposition that focuses on creating security and peace of mind for Members in both their working life and retirement.

“I am looking forward to working with Brynley to develop our business here in Queensland, leveraging his industry experience and expertise which will be a valuable addition to our team and our model.”
