Ms Bentley has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services law in Australia and overseas, being a funds and investment specialist with a particular focus on alternative investments.
Ms Bentley is in the executive committee and chair of the regulatory committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Australia, as well as being a member of the Australian committee for 100 Women in Finance.
EY noted she has previously advised Australian and global financial services clients on a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory issues facing their businesses including entering the Australian market, strategic investments and material outsourcing arrangements.
Ms Bentley is also said to regularly advise on onshore and offshore fund establishment, product disclosure, distribution and investment management.
