Mr Johnson, who has been at MLC since 2002, will replace Fiona Navarro, who parted ways with NAB in March.
He has 17 years’ experience across financial planning, practice management and compliance fields and will take up the role on 1 July.
Since joining MLC in 2002 Mr Johnson has held several senior roles, including state manager for MLC’s Licensee Businesses and national manager for the MLC Risk Specialist Network.
