Mr Harradine will continue to work at the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s Hobart office until commencing his new role at MyState on 16 March 2015.

He currently leads a team that specialises in financial services including authorised deposit-taking institutions, wealth management, superannuation and insurance, and provides accounting, audit and advisory services for ASX-listed companies, large corporations and government.

Mr Harradine is also chair of Centacare Tasmania, a welfare and human services provider, and is a board member of Affordable Community Housing Alliance Tasmania.

MyState chief executive Melos Sulicich welcomed Mr Harradine to MyState.

“He has [a] good knowledge of our business, and his financial services experience will be a strong complement to our executive team as we continue to grow,” said Mr Sulicich.

He also thanked current chief financial officer Tom Taylor for his contribution over the past two years.

“He will leave us at the end of March 2015 at the end of his contract, having fulfilled an important role, and we wish him well for the future,” said Mr Sulicich.

Ms Sims will be responsible for leading the mortgage broker sales and services strategy of MyState Bank and the Rock Building Society.

Prior to her role at St George Bank, Ms Sims worked at Westpac, primarily in mortgage distribution management roles, including state manager for Queensland and NSW for Westpac’s home loan partnership business.

MyState general manager of sales and distribution Huw Bough said he is pleased Ms Sims has chosen to lead MyState’s growing broker team.

“Sandi brings substantial retail and intermediary experience which will help us to build on the significant momentum we are seeing in our business,” said Mr Bough.
