Jeremy Gibson joins Munro Partners as a portfolio manager following 10 years as a senior investment manager at London-based asset manager Pictet Asset Management.
Munro Partners chief executive Ronald Calvert said Mr Gibson brought global and institutional fund manager experience to the position.
“Jeremy adds great depth and breadth of experience to our business, in particular to the team’s ‘buy side’ expertise,” he said.
“He has extensive background in long/short investment strategies and most recently was focused on Asian markets, which will be especially valuable.”
Based in Munro’s Melbourne office, Mr Gibson will report to chief investment officer Nick Griffin and implement stock ideas and manage positions within the Munro Global Growth Fund.
