Laneway cited demand for data science expertise in the super industry.

“This rounds out our team with the skills to extend our super fund analytics platform with deeper levels of machine learning and artificial intelligence and bespoke data science models for our customers.”

The new head of analytics, Ms Tam, in addition to her daily duties will be responsible for data modelling and visualisation engineering geared toward advancements in Laneway’s data analytic services.

She also will overlook client delivery, quality control and a roadmap for how data analytics development can further improve client outcomes.

Meanwhile Harsha Vardhan Jarugu has joined the company to be an analytics solutions engineer. He will be responsible for developing, building and implementing advanced data analytics solutions for clients to improve business performance.

Mr Vardhan Jarugu will also contribute to the development of the analytics portal, Luci, overlooking the production of the dashboard and machine learning algorithms, data analytics and modelling, software development and customer training.
