Financial Wisdom now has 420 advisers in its ranks – an increase of 47 compared to the same period last year.
The dealer group attracts planners through referrals, recruitment programs and financial professionals’ own inquiries.
“A lot of these people are new to the industry or are sub-authorised representatives,” Financial Wisdom general manager Paul Barrett said.
“We’ve brought people out of accounting, universities [and] related industries [who] just needed the right opportunity to come into financial planning. [We] focus on building bridges between our profession and others.”
Financial Wisdom had 200 practices across Australia and had its sights on 300, Barrett said.
New recruits since May in New South Wales are Eric Galiatsatos, Phillip George, Victor Hatfield, Craig Hawkins, Andrew Ramsay, Alex Scarfone, Jock Stier, Geoff Thompson, Brad Thompson, Mark Walker, Aaron Watts and Michael Webber.
New advisers in Queensland are Desley Allford, Matthew Farley, Hayden Griffiths, Cara Rayment, Deidre Walsh and Stuart Westhoff.
In South Australia, new advisers are Adriano Mercorella and Anthony Robinson, while in Tasmania, Duncan Hurd.
New advisers in Victoria are Sandro Bagnati, Christopher Benson, Paul Benson, Dale Brilley, George Bruce, Scott Clayton, Douglas Collins, Jim Dowling, Tim Easton, George Hlawaty, Onur Kinali, Rodney Lavin, Ross Leishman, Nick Locke, Joe Matina, Kerry Mitchell, James Mulcahy and Geoff Shaw.
New recruits in Western Australia are Jason Atkins, Lesley Eagleton and Simone Hegge.
