Promethos operates as an ESG manager offering global, multi-cap equity strategies, with goals such as amplifying diversity and climate resilience.

The US firm has chosen to be exclusively represented by 3PD, a recently founded company in the local market.

Promethos chief investment officer Ivka Kalus commented: “Over the last 20 years, I’ve observed the focus of Australian investors on ESG metrics and I believe our investment strategies align to their values.”

3PD co-founder Robert Harrison added he is “keen to represent pure play managers with specialised expertise in underserved, in-demand Australian investment segments”.

“Clients seeking ESG strategies will be interested in Promethos because until now they had to use opportunistic hybrids from mega-managers,” Mr Harrison said.

Ms Kalus launched Promethus Capital in April last year, after previously holding senior roles at Boston Advisors, Pax World Management, State Street and Baring Asset Management.
