Following the success of similar offerings through its other brands, the online broking and financial services group has announced the launch of a dedicated new brand.

Bell Financial Group has announced the launch of Tandem Securities, which it said would bring the group’s business-to-business (B2B) wholesale offerings together under one brand.

Officially launched at the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association (SIAA) 2024 Conference in Melbourne on Tuesday, Tandem will provide wholesale and institutional clients with an integrated wealth management suite of trading, clearing and investment services.

The new brand has a variety of service offerings, including adviser trading solutions, institutional trading solutions, third-party clearing, investment lending – including margin lending, super lending, and protected lending and at-call investments.

Over the last 15 years, the group has developed its full-scale end-to-end capabilities in-house, servicing select institutional clients through a number of its brands, including Third Party Clearing, Bell Potter Capital, and Desktop Broker.

Arnie Selvarajah, co-chief executive of Bell Financial Group, said the new brand utilises technology to offer a tailored experience to its clients, allowing it to meet the needs of its broad range of clients.

“Our new Tandem Securities brand offers the full suite of technology-driven solutions, including trade execution, clearing and investment services,” he said.

“The services can be tailored or clients may prefer the full end-to-end capability to meet their specific needs, which we believe is quite unique in the Australian market.”

Selvarajah stated the group’s previous ventures into this service offering have been successful, building the confidence to launch the new brand.

“Following the success of the B2B, end-to-end offering to select institutional clients, Bell Financial Group is very pleased to now offer the capability more broadly to the financial services industry through Tandem Securities,” he said.

“We’ve already been working with leading financial institutions to provide outsourced white label broking services and trading technology. Our clients span the range of financial services organisations including large banks, broking participants, and over 400 financial advice dealer groups.”
