As part of the restructure, the company combined the roles of chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Current chief financial officer Margaret Payn will take on the new role.
The position of director of Australia and New Zealand and chief operating officer, held by Sharon Davis, “is no longer required,” AMP Capital said in a statement.
“Sharon has made an exemplary contribution to AMP Capital, and AMP and I [are] working with her to consider other opportunities across the AMP Group,” AMP Capital chief executive Adam Tindall said.
The restructure will see a raft of changes across the company’s distribution teams.
Distribution teams will now be focused around client groups in three regions – Australia and New Zealand, the north-west region (Europe, India, Middle East and the Americas) and Asia.
Boe Pahari will continue to manage the firm’s infrastructure equity business while also taking leadership responsibilities for the north-west region.
Anthony Fasso, current director of international, will assume the position of global head of portfolio strategy and director, Asia.
The company’s investment teams remain unchanged.
Commenting on the changes, Mr Tindall said, “The global business model has been enhanced to help us to align our resources more effectively as we tailor our support and offerings across regions.”
