DTCC, market infrastructure for financial services, has acquired Publicis Sapient’s platform for compliance management reporting, signalling plans to merge it with its offering.

DTCC has outlined plans to immediately begin integrating Sapient’s Compliance Management Reporting System (CMRS) with its Report Hub service, to make a comprehensive pre and post-trade reporting solution.

The company has promised the service will provide a suite of reporting capabilities with a substantial jurisdictional and regulation coverage, including mandates in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and others.

Firms using the offering will have the ability to manage derivatives and securities financing transaction regulation pre and post-trade reporting requirements, via a single vendor platform.

“As national and global regulatory demands continue to increase, firms need a solution to help them simplify the complexities of their pre and post-trade reporting processes,” Chris Childs, managing director, head of repository and derivatives services, DTCC said.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Publicis Sapient will serve as a partner to DTCC by continuing to support, maintain and develop enhancements for the platform.
