The firm’s corporate trust business has added an experienced client relationships manager to its team.

Emily Boden has joined Perpetual Corporate Trust as head of institutional sales and relationship management, Perpetual Digital, having formally commenced with the company earlier this month.

In her new capacity, Ms Boden will work primarily with Perpetual Digital and Laminar Capital to develop fixed income solutions for the wealth, asset management, and superannuation markets via the firms intelligence platform, according to Perpetual general manager for sales and marketing Glen Dogan.

Namely, Perpetual acquired specialist debt and advisory business Laminar Capital in October 2021, which had $8 billion in funds under management at the time.

The acquisition also included specialist fixed income digital platform Treasury Direct, which had $21 billion in assets under administration in 2021.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Dogan said he was “very excited” for Ms Boden’s move.

“Emily’s reputation as an exceptional client relationship manager aligns perfectly with our vision to enable client success. Welcome, Emily,” Mr Dogan said.

Ms Boden joins the firm with two decades of experience, most recently having served a three-year stint as senior business development manager at Yieldbroker.

Before this, she held a number of sales and relationship management roles, including at ANZ, NAB, Commonwealth Bank, and FIIG Securities.

Ms Boden’s appointment follows the recent promotion of Lynsey Thorrington to head of institutional sales and relationship management for debt market services.

Ms Thorrington has been with the company since 2007, first as a senior transaction manager and most recently as a senior relationships manager, debt market services.

“Lynsey has been with the business for 16 years and her most recent promotion is recognition of her exceptional client service, depth of experience, and expertise in debt markets. Congratulations, Lynsey,” Mr Dogan said last month.

Ms Thorrington added: “So excited to be taking on this new role, grateful for the support of the Perpetual Corporate Trust team and for all our amazing clients who make my job easy .... 2024 will likely bring more challenges and hopefully, many more successes.”
