Goldman Sachs appoints Sydney-based MD

A former managing director of Pacific Equity Partners has joined Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has announced the appointment of David Grayce as a managing director on its growth and corporate equity team.

Mr Grayce has more than 20 years of experience as a private equity investor. He was most recently managing director at Pacific Equity Partners and previously worked at Bain Capital.

Goldman Sachs said that it was pleased to welcome Mr Grayce as it continues to expand its private investing business in Australia and New Zealand.

“David will work alongside local teams across alternatives investing and build on the success of the firm’s platform in the region as we continue to grow our Asia Corporate and Growth Equity business,” the firm said in a statement.

Based in Sydney, Goldman Sachs said that Mr Grayce will work closely with its regional team to lead investment opportunities in the region and will report to Stephanie Hui.
