Financial planning software firm Midwinter has poached a senior business development manager from CommSec.
Adam Rebeira makes the move to Midwinter after a nine-year career at CommSec.
Mr Rebeira's appointment also sees the departure of business development manager Reda Daher, who is set to join Ibbotson Associates as a relationship manager.
"I’m thrilled to be a part of such a forward-thinking company during a time where so much transformation is occurring within the financial services industry as a result of technology," Mr Rebeira said.
Midwinter managing director Julian Plummer said the company is looking to build an "innovative fintech A-team of the highest quality".
"With fintech being on the forefront of most major advice group’s strategic initiatives, we are well placed to deliver market-leading bespoke solutions," Mr Plummer said.
"Like the rise of online broking in the early 2000s, it is an exciting time to be an advocate in this space."
