Retail superannuation fund Kinetic Super has appointed a permanent replacement for long-term chief executive Megan Bolton who left the fund last year.
Kinetic Super has named former MLC/NAB executive Andrew Barnett as its new chief executive.
Mr Barnett replaces Ms Bolton, who served as chief executive of Kinetic Super for seven years before she announced she was leaving the fund in August 2015.
In the interim, Kinetic Super has been led by acting chief executive Elizabeth Thomas.
Kinetic Super chairman Frank Gullone said he was pleased to have secured someone of Mr Barnett's "calibre and experience".
"His expertise, gained through his impressive career in financial services, will be a vital addition to Kinetic Super as we embark on an exciting new growth phase for the fund and delivering even greater value to our members," Mr Gullone said.
Mr Gullone also thanked Ms Thomas for her "significant contribution" as acting chief executive in the past eight months.
"Elizabeth stepped into the acting chief executive role at a pivotal time. She did an exceptional job during her time with us and now returns to the leadership of her consulting firm," he said.
