Class Super has added 50 automated data feeds to its service.

Self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administrative software application Class Super has been given an efficiency enhancement with the addition of 50 automated direct broker automated data feeds.

"The input and updating of data manually into SMSFs has long been a source of frustration and inefficiency for SMSF managers - whether they are administrators, accountants or adviser groups. With the introduction of these additional 'No Click' automated data feeds, the speed and efficiency advantages that Class Super enjoys over its competitors have been increased further," Class Financial chief operating officer Kevin Bungard said.

This latest improvement to Class Super means it now has in excess of 100 automatic data feeds incorporated in its operation, the highest amount in the industry.

According to Class Super the increase in data feeds will lead to greater efficiency for users with a decrease in labour intensive techniques.

They estimate the time taken for some tasks, such as preparing tax returns, will now be reduced from weeks to hours for practitioners.

"The most important thing that this allows is an increased focus on the important areas of SMSF - strategy and compliance - rather than the day-to-day administration processes," Bungard said.

Class Super is looking to use the data feed feature to drive further growth in the number of its application users.
