MTAA Super has made a series of executive and board changes.

The troubled MTAA Super has promoted Leeanne Turner to chief executive from deputy chief, the fund said today.

The $6 billion fund, which was beset by member outcry and regulatory investigation over its investment losses in 2008, has also named two new directors, Vicki Allen and Susanne Dahn.

Turner's appointment follows the superannuation fund's announcement in August that chief Michael Delaney had resigned and would step down in November.

At the time, the fund vowed to overhaul its board and implement reforms.

"The appointments announced today build on the reforms announced earlier this year," MTAA Super chairman John Brumby said in a statement.

"This includes restructuring the board, publishing the remuneration of Directors and the top five executives by bands and providing the full audited accounts of MTAA Super on the fund's website."

Allen and Dahn have been named independent board members, and Philip Perdikaris joins the board as an employer representative.
