Hamieh will build a team as Centuria brings new products onstream.

Centuria Capital has named Anne Hamieh its manager of financial services marketing and distribution.

Hamieh joined Centuria on Monday from Wilson HTM, where she was most recently the group's distribution head. She has also previously held analyst, planning and business development roles with AMP.

"Anne has very significant experience in both financial services and marketing and her strong relationships with, and understanding of what drives planners and dealer groups will add a new dimension to our team as we continue to expand our offering in this space," Centuria Capital chief executive John McBain said.

Hamieh will focus on the promotion and positioning of Centuria's investment bonds and new products, McBain said.

He added that she would be building a team as Centuria brought new products onstream.

Hamieh is the third senior appointment at Centuria Capital, which rebranded earlier this year from the Over 50 Group.

McBain has said he aimed to triple the group's funds under management to $3 billion by financial year 2013, mainly through acquisition, including wholesale mandate funds and real estate investment trusts.

"We are well aware that to meet what are ambitious goals we need the right talent on board and we will continue to pursue that talent to ensure we achieve them," McBain said.
