IFSA adds two CEOs to board

IFSA flags changes to its 2009/10 board, appointing two new members to the line up.

The Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA) has made changes to its 2009/10 board, adding ING Australia's chief executive Harry Stout and Mercer Australia's head Peter Promnitz to the line up.

Both chief executives had previously filled casual vacancies on the IFSA board during 2008 and 2009.

Following its annual general meeting this week, IFSA also re-elected the following members to the board: Perpetual managing director David Deverall (chair), Macquarie Bank's group head Peter Maher (deputy chair), MLC Australia's chief executive Steve Tucker and Franklin Templeton Investments Australia managing director Maria Wilton.

Other 2009/10 board members include Colonial First State Investments' Brian Bissaker (deputy chair), AllianceBernstein Australia's Michael Bargholz, Schroder Investment Management Australia's Greg Cooper, Axa Australia's Warren Lee, BT Financial Group's Geoff Lloyd, AMP Financial Services' Craig Meller and Australian Ethical Investments' Anne O'Donnell.
