Kivell will manage a team of 10 investment professionals located in Sydney, Hong Kong, Connecticut and Amsterdam. He replaces Stephen Hayes, who resigned to take an extended break from work.

"David is an outstanding investment manager with extensive experience in domestic and global listed property securities," Perennial chief executive Anthony Patterson said.
Kivell's most recent roles include managing director at CDRE Global Real Estate Securities, head of both Australian and global real estate securities at Macquarie Funds Management.
