Life insurer NEOS Life has appointed a trustee for its new insurance-only superannuation fund.
The trustee, Sargon, provides financial institutions and entrepreneurs with the trustee services, technology and infrastructure they need to successfully build and grow investment funds and financial products, according to a statement.
The company operates across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Sargon will be the trustee of the NEOS Super Plan fund, providing advisers with a pay-by-super option for their clients’ life insurance policies.
NEOS Life managing director Brett Yardley said that being able to structure a client’s life insurance policy through superannuation is becoming increasingly important for financial advisers.
“Making life easier for advisers and their clients by delivering an outstanding experience is at the heart of everything we do. Choosing partners who help us achieve that objective is incredibly important,” Mr Yardley said.
“We’ve chosen to partner with Sargon because of their strong compliance culture. The services they provide also mean we have more time to focus on what matters to us; advisers and their clients.”
