Two of Netwealth’s platforms will now include Australian Unity’s diversified property fund.

Australian Unity announced in a statement that its diversified property fund has been added on Netwealth’s Super and Investment Wealth Accelerator Plus platforms.

In the year leading up to 31 March 2018, the fund, which owns eight properties across Australia, delivered a 7.96 per cent distribution return and an 8.22 per cent growth return.

Australian Unity fund manager Nikki Panagopoulos said that the fund focuses on income generation and has “an active development pipeline underway across a number of properties”.

“These developments are targeted to improve tenant amenities, increase lettable area and build on the quality of the existing property portfolio which is designed to improve investor returns,” the fund manager said.

Australian Unity took over management of the fund from Westpac in 2010.
