AMP Capital has appointed former Millennium Capital Partners fund manager Brad Creighton as a portfolio strategist within its dynamic markets team.
In his new role at AMP Capital, Brad Creighton will focus on international growth opportunities within AMP's dynamic markets team.
Specifically, he will identify tail hedging strategies, assess and identify market dislocations, and build market indicators.
Mr Creighton has more than a decade of experience in financial markets, having most recently worked as a macro specialist and market risk manager at Optiver.
Before that, he was an assistant portfolio manager and trader at Millennium Capital Partners in London and Sydney, with a discretionary global-macro mandate.
AMP Capital head of dynamic markets Nader Naeimi said Mr Creighton would support the team's strategy to expand internationally.
"Our clients are increasingly seeking multi-asset investments that provide exposure to global macro themes, and we see a strong opportunity to expand this offering in the Asia Pacific region," Mr Naeimi said.
Mr Creighton will be based in Sydney, reporting to Mr Naeimi. His appointment is effective immediately.
