Global fund manager Capital Dynamics has entered into a partnership with Channel Capital to provide clean energy infrastructure exposure to Australian institutional investors.

Capital Dynamics, a global fund manager with more than US$28 billion in assets under management, will make its clean energy infrastructure capacity available to Australian institutional investors.

The Capital Dynamics Clean Energy Infrastructure (CD CEI) team manages US$3 billion in assets with over 3.1 gigawatts capacity in its current portfolio.

"The team has built expertise and access to deal-flow in key markets based on decades of specialised experience and long-standing relationships in the renewable energy space," according to a statement by distribution partner Channel Capital.

CD CEI global head John Breckenridge said global renewable energy is the "last frontier genuinely contracted long-term fixed revenue streams in the infrastructure space".

"CD CEI is thrilled to be able to demonstrate our expertise in this market to Australia’s most important institutional investors through our partnership with Channel Capital," Mr Breckenridge said.
