Australian Ethical appoints new director

Former managing director of State Super Financial Services Michael Monaghan has joined the board of Australian Ethical as a non-executive director.

Michael Monaghan has joined the board of Australian Ethical as a non-executive director, in addition to his current board roles with big data start-up Alpha Vista Financial Services and aged care provider HammondCare.

Mr Monaghan joins Australian Ethical with experience as managing director of State Super Financial Services. He has also held roles at Intech Investment Consultants, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Deutsche Bank, IBM and Lend Lease Corporation.

Australian Ethical chairman Steve Gibbs said, "Michael is a highly credentialed director who will work to further the company’s mission. The board looks forward to working with him."
