Equity Trustees has been appointed the responsible entity (RE) for Pentalpha, a Brisbane-based Australian equities boutique.
Pentalpha has appointed Equity Trustees as the responsible entity of the Income For Life Fund.
Equity Trustees executive general manager for corporate trustee services Harvey Kalman said that Equity Trustees has been chosen by Pentalpha as its RE due to the company’s experience in the industry and its unique array of services.
"It’s an efficient choice for a boutique fund manager with a short history. Pentalpha has bought decades of expertise and experience with the additional benefit of drawing clear boundaries between the role of a fund manager and its fiduciary responsibilities in appointing us as an independent RE," Mr Kalman said.
