Colonial First State Global Asset Management has made an internal promotion to replace retiring head of global resources Joanne Warner.
Todd Warren has been named as Colonial First State Global Asset Management's (CFSGAM's) new head of global resources, effective 1 July 2017.
Mr Warren, who is currently a global resources portfolio manager at CFSGAM, will succeed Joanne Warner who will retire from funds management in August 2017.
Ms Warner will retire after 20 years as a portfolio manager within the CFSGAM global resources team. Her successor, Mr Warren, has more than 15 years of experience in global resources management.
CFSGAM chief investment officer, equities, David Dixon said the transition is "the culmination of a long-standing succession plan".
"Joanne has been an outstanding leader of our global resources business since 2010 and will soon celebrate both the team’s 20th anniversary as well as her own 20 years as a global resources portfolio manager with the business," Mr Dixon said.
