Former Franklin Templeton Investments institutional sales senior manager Charles Levinge has been appointed by Grant Samuel Funds Management as the company’s new head of institutional business.
In his new role, Mr Levinge will oversee the marketing of a number of the company’s investment strategies, reporting to Grant Samuel Funds Management (GSFM) director and head of distribution Damien McIntyre.
Mr Levinge has previously held positions with Franklin Templeton Investments, MMC Asset Management, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Westpac, Clayton Utz and AMP.
The company has also promoted Stephen Fletcher to the role of head of retail distribution.
Mr Fletcher commenced with GSFM in 2008, and most recently served as the business’ state manager for Victoria and Tasmania.
“These senior appointments will ensure GSFM maintains a dedicated focus of senior staff on servicing clients in the institutional and the retail space,” said Mr McIntyre.
“Charles has a proven track record of success at Franklin Templeton, and his experience in business development and human resources management means he brings a unique skill set to the role, and with more than eight years’ experience at GSFM, Stephen brings a solid understanding of the retail business as well as established industry connections to his new position.”
