The New South Wales Treasury Corporation (TCorp) has appointed Fiona Trigona as its new head of funding and balance sheet.

In her new role, Ms Trigona will oversee the strategic direction of funding activities and help the group maximise its investor base.

Ms Trigona has worked with TCorp for more than two decades and currently manages an annual funding program of $4 billion.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to lead the funding and balance sheet team and look forward to contributing to TCorp’s work in strengthening the state’s financial position,” she said.

“We will continue to pursue innovative transactions with a focus on diversifying our investment base into new markets.”

Ms Trigona will report to TCorp general manager Paul Verschuer, who said Ms Trigona was a “passionate advocate” for the group and its work.

“I congratulate her on this appointment – not only has she overseen the significant growth of our balance sheet but she has also been a key contributor to TCorp’s long-standing reputation as one of the most professional and innovative semi-government funders,” he said.
